Maybe this will be hard. This manufacturer produced machete's dated 1943 and 1944 and some with USMC markings, however they were not WW2 issue. What is the name of the company?
Just one of the wonders of the Information Superhighway, Steve.... Here's something a little different. How many people died as a result of direct enemy action on the US mainland during WWII , when, and what caused their deaths ?
The Japanese Fugo balloons and six people were killed by them. "..an Oregon minister's wife and five children were killed by a balloon bomb." http://www.nlc-bnc.ca/publications/2/p2-9807-12-e.html
5th May 1945 a woman and five children died when inspecting a wreckage of a Japanese "intercontinental" hydrogen balloon carrying incendiary bombs. Regards, Juha
Whoops ! That's what happens when the 'page' switches over and I can't be bothered to check ! You're right, Juha - Kai got there first - and I thought this'd be a difficult one.... ( BTW ; These Finns are such honest people ... )
I read about this years ago & now can't remember where... Was it the 76mmK36, and because of its' high muzzle velocity ( 688 m/s ) ?
