This is a medal my Dad brought back from WW2- He died when I was 18 months.
Tank driver under Patton- Battle of the Bulge. Any help identifying this will be great. It was in my toy box as a kid. I would like to give it back to my older brother who lost our Dad at 14 years old and knew him better than me.
Was in combat in Germany with an SS officer. Armband and Walther pp recovered.

I can assure you that this is not Third Reich related. Perhaps a few of the other guys here may know if it is French or Belgian or something else.

I like the story and I commend your efforts to give it back to your brother.
