Most of the pages of the website have been translated from Danish by Google Translate and I need a better translation. Just a sincle/few pages or more! English, French or German... Hi Martin, I can't help with the translations, but if you need anything proofread in English (grammar, punctuation, sentence flow, etc), I'll be happy to help. I find this area of WW2 interesting, and am happy to see a website devoted to it. Here's a quick proofread I did. Let me know what you think: --- The Germans started construction of the Oldenburg gun battery in July 1940 with the goal of keeping the English Channel free of Allied ships during the forthcoming German invasion of the UK. Later its role became more defensive and the battery became a part of the Germans' Atlantic wall. The two guns had been captured by the Germans during the First World War and subsequently modernized in the Krupp factory. The caliber was changed to the German standard 240 mm and fired a shell with a weight of 150 kg, with a range of 28 km. Before their installation in the battery the guns had been used in the German attack on France. The compound began to be expanded in the autumn of 1940 with the construction of two large pillboxes for the guns along with associated crew, garage, auxiliary gun and fire control bunkers. ---

Great site, I have read a couple of your pages in French and they are good quality translations. On the Val Ygot page I only spotte done space error betwwen "londres" and "à" which should be seperated by a space. When I have time I will read one from time to time
