    Greetings all,
    I am visiting this forum on a recommendation from my dad who is a member of this forum as well (TD-tommy776). We have both searched for a past of our family my dad with his great uncles, and myself with my great grandfather, on my mom's side, all of whom were WWII veterans. What initiated my interest is unfortunately that he passed away a couple months ago and his service was never a topic he brought up which is understandable as it wasn't a topic many were willing to share. So here I am in search of his past, PFC Clarence Sundberg A Company 119th Infantry Regiment if there's anything you all can share to help out it would be greatly appreciated all I have to go on so far is mainly his discharge papers though through some minor research found he was a part of the 30th "Old Hickory" Division and was involved in the crossing of the Elbe as well. I'm looking forward to anything that can be offered though in fair trade will do my part to help in any inquiry as well.

    Hey there Josh and welcome to the forum :)

    From a Wikipedia search, I found out that the 119th was involved in five campaigns during WWII;

    *Normandy
    *Northern France
    *Rhineland
    *Ardennes-Alsace
    *Central Europe

    So PFC Sundberg would have received the EAME Medal with one or more bronze service stars related to the above campaigns.
