Gentlemen
A Marine Squad Ferreting out the Japanese in caves on Iwo Jima. I tried to reproduce the effects of fire and smoke. You be the judge

Thanks for looking Tom
Good job again DD. One nitpick though, you have the flamethrower operator using an M1/M1A1 flamethrower. The Marine Corps had long been transitioned to the M2 type and all pictures I've seen of flamethrower operators on IWO they're using/carrying the M2. That's not to say that it was impossible for an M1/M1A1 to have made it to IWO, just that it is unlikely in the extreme.
And the BAR guy needs to shave! (?) Don't listen to that chowder head; very freakin' cool piece, the scorched Japanese soldier is a nice touch.
I agree it's a very cool piece, I did say it was a good job. It's just somethings jump out at you sometimes and I don't know why but the flamethrower type jumped out at me. I love the movie "Rules of Engagement" but when the CH-46's change to CH-47's it just jumps out and hit's me betwen the eyes! Most people don't notice. As for the "chowder head" remark, that's very un-Marine Corpish, I'd prefer to be called "turd", "scumbag", etc. something a little more creative, something with a little more edge. Don't go all moderate on me now that you're a Trustee.
Another piece that portrays what they went through. Thanks, despite the wayward comments of Price and formerjughead (Brad).
this is a great piece. I wish I can make something like that but I'm flat broke. Again, this piece of work is amazing.
