Specific NARA Address to Request Replacement Medals/Letter Template?

    Hi all--

    I want to order replacement medals (including ones he never received but should have) from my grandfather's service in order to put a nice shadow box together. Can anyone help vis a vis a specific address/attention line to use at NARA? Is it just the main one?

    Also, what info should my request letter include? Anyone have a template that I could use to start?

    You know what, never mind! He was separated before 1951, so according to the NARA website the only way to get them is to go through a commercial source.

    Sorry to take up the bandwidth!
