Seems Ferrari will have quite a bagful of drivers to choose from: Alonso, Kubica, and Heidfeld.

Depends if any other team that applied to run in F1 buys the Sauber Team.

Massa is out of hospital and says he will be driving F1´s again next year. It seems he did not hurt his eye in anway in the collision. that is good news.

The FIA is going to insist that their medics look at Massa before they give him the green light.

he won´t be back until next year I think. I think he must wait for awhile if they actually did operate a part of bone from too close a contact with the brains ( the fracture?). This contact part could develope a scar which could end up in creating epileptic seizures so I think we´ll have to wait even if he would be otherwise in perfect health to drive F1. Well, we´ll hear a bout that soon.

Renault will be racing at Valencia! They got a 30,000 pound fine instead of the one race suspension.

What a surprise.... Not letting Alonso drive at valencia would have been a bigger surprise and actually not a good choice, I think.

BBC SPORT | Motorsport | Formula 1 | Alonso 'will switch to Ferrari'

Fernando Alonso will move from Renault to Ferrari next year and spark a cascade of other driver changes, according to McLaren team boss Martin Whitmarsh.

Whitmarsh's remarks were made in an interview with BBC Sport in which he addressed rumours that McLaren will replace Heikki Kovalainen with Nico Rosberg as Lewis Hamilton's team-mate next year.

"Every year there are a number of pivotal points during the season which determine what is going to happen in the drivers' market.

"This year I think we all know that the Fernando-Ferrari move has a knock on and that ripples through the other teams. "

I don't know if alonso will be driving for ferrari next season, Raikkonen aswell Massa do have a contract for 2010 and massa also for 2011.

But i'm more chokked about Badoers driving, i guess Marc Gene does it much better.

Missed a few races as I got sick of all that news about the teams Vs FIA. To be honest all that rubbish has put be off F1 for a while, I may get around to watching the last race of the season.

Sebastian Vettel broke his 6th engine of the season, and you are only allowed to use 8 during the season. Looks like he cannot risque any more engines during the rest six races of the season...

The penalty for an extra engine is 10 places loss after the qualifying sessions.

Way to go Rubino! With all the crap Reubens had to take from Ferrari playing second fiddle to Schumacher (where he could have beaten him several other times) it would be karma to see Reubens win the WDC.

It was interesting, that the only way McLarens have a chance is on tight courses, where their KERS comes into play. The Brawns have them in straight line speed, and guess what races we have coming up? Spa and Monza, two very fast tracks.

Finally something for Ferrari to cheer about....

"Kimi Räikkönen won the Belgian Grand Prix giving his Ferrari team their first victory of the season. "

BBC SPORT | Motorsport | Formula 1 | Renault to launch Piquet lawsuit

Renault say they are launching legal action against Nelson Piquet Jr and his father Nelson Piquet over race-fixing allegations made against the team.

Piquet Jr has given evidence to the sport's governing body that has led to an investigation into Fernando Alonso's win at the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix.

Renault deny claims they asked Piquet to crash to facilitate Alonso's win and have referred to a "blackmail attempt".

Piquet Jr said: "Because I am telling the truth I have nothing to fear."

In a statement released on Friday, Renault said the claimed blackmail attempt was in relation to "allowing Mr Piquet Jr to drive for the remainder of the 2009 season".

Briatore is also starting a dirty war here, as he is saying that "Piquet is homosexual" in his statements....I guess Flavio is living in the past as I cannot see that statement change anything except his own position.
