My Mom's side of the family came from County Kent, that's in Ireland right :) Anyway, it's nice to see the Leader of a free Nation invites her subjects to dine with her. I'll not be holding me breath for My invitation to the The Peoples House over here!

Well, if you have a couple of hundred thousand you might get invited to lunch?

None of my ancestors is British, so I guess it doesn't matter how much (or little) I have. I won't be invited any time soon.

Had to do some sleuthing through Urgh's posts to find his mention. Haven't heard of any National disasters or civil unrest so assuming he's having a Grand Old Time nibbling those itty-bitty sandwiches and sipping tea.
    Good on Ya' Sir !

When I saw the subject line, I thought you were addressing me, and then I realized that I was only dreaming I was a princess. Ah, well, such is life.

My aunt Rosemary had tea at Buckingham Palace with the Queen (and a few hundred other people) a few years back. It was something to do with my aunt's 50 years in nursing. Of course, my Aunt Rosemary is quite the lady, and a saint to boot, so I'd say she would have fit right in at the palace.

No. But then I'm not a princess, either. A girl can dream, right?

Princess Clem. It does have a ring to it. But being a princess isn't all it's cracked up to be, I guess Harry's mum showed us all that.

You know, if I were younger, Harry would be the one I'd go for. Nothing wrong with Prince William, but Harry's just got that cheeky, cute thing going on. And he gets to have all of the fun and not as much responsibility on his shoulders. Sigh....
