German surface to air missle

I was looking for something else and came across this item I had never seen before. Kind of looks like a mini Me-163.
It also said infra-red guidance could be used at the end of the war.

guys there were actually about 24-25 missile launchings, maybe more against US heavy bombers, the daughter of the Rhein was also used besides the Einzan. A brother of a very close friend served in the displaying of the V-1's over England moved out before Peenumünde was plastered and then went over as a ground crewmen for a Flak/Rocket site within the Reich during 45. Ah only to have his war diaries at my side; he left this earth with leaving surviving docs to no one, his wife tossed them into the fire after he passed on back in the 1980's

 

werner von braun came up with the basic design for a small surface to air missle that would be deadly accurate, enough to take out allied fighters and bombers. However Hitler scrapped it and made him to make it about bojillion times bigger, giving you the highly innaccurate, no real strategic advantage but legendary V-2 rocket. Another example of hitler's fanaticism to destroy the British people, that eventually cost him the war.
