    Fred,

This looks like a great site. Thanks for sharing it here. Where will I find the hours to pore over your database? Must figure that out. This will be a valuable resource for keeping the memories of these fine fighting men and women at the forefront of our western civilization's memory and thoughts. We must strengthen our freedoms and development so that their sacrifices are not wasted. So far it appears we have much work to continue in this respect.

Glad that you joined the forum as I am sure many of our esteemed colleagues will be, as well. A most respectful welcome to you, Sir.

    Rick

Thank you for the kind words, Rick. Your truly right. We have to work hard to keep up the good work.

Please don't try to pore over everything. To much, I think.
I made this system for people who want to have specific information: about a unit, a place a date or a operation. Or a combination of that. It took me years to find a good format of organizing the data and technique behind the website. With years I mean the years of my frustrating not understanding what actually happened during D-Day and beyond.
Now I finally found a way of organizing all the facts, stories and I can go on for years. The structure of the website will bring every detail on the right place. Right away after enter.
It keeps me busy almost every day. And I learn so much of this whole process. In many ways.
I asked many times for help, but for some reason it does not happen. That's OK. It will only take a little more time to get all the information of War Diaries, Unit websites, books, etc. in this format:)
So thanks for the words. It keeps me going too.
