Other than Germany, what axis country had the best tank designs?

    The Red army in that fought alongside the Germans ion Poland in 1939 had some decent tanks for 1939-40. The BT5 & 7 anf the T26 were good tanks for the 1930s. Even under Stalin's purges the USSR p[roduced better tanks than the industrial pygmies that formed the rest of the Axis..

    The italian tank program was mostly failure as they were obsolete to most allied tanks
