Call me sentimental, but I'm sad to see this. Simply put, the Enterprise is a legendary ship. As the world's first nuclear powered ship, she is a marvel of nuclear engineering. As a carrier that's been in commission for over 50 years, its been in more wars than any other major warship in the 20th century (to my knowledge). Here's my Enterprise "souvenir". Its a 16" wood (carved) plaque -- I bought if off eBay last year. I'd assume it has some connection to the ship (or a local "establishment" in her home-port), but there's no way to be sure. Regardless, its a item that looks nice on my wall.
