I haven't posted much here in the past two years, but for some reason around Christmas I think about WWII the most, My grandmother died two weeks ago, she use to work in plane factory's, in England during the war. She told me stories of how she would walk home at night, the city's lights would shut off and nazi planes would be dropping bombs near her. God bless the greatest generation I will miss you! Merry Christmas!
A tough year for your family. Condolences. Want to share any stories with us? I'd love to hear a few.
I suggest you post something in Roll of Honor & Memories - WWII Obituaries I know I'd like to hear about them, as would many others. Would make a fitting tribute to your Grandfather.
