Hello: I am new to the forum. I joined to see if I can connect with individuals who may be interested in the history of the Geheime Feldpolizei. I am a college professor writing a history of the GFP from its creation in 1864 till the end of the Second World War. Of special interest would be photographs that any of you out there would be willing to allow to be published (credit given, of course) in a future book that I am preparing. I have written numerous books on Axis forces in World War Two, including a two-volume history of the German Police. Tony, welcome to the forum! I have read your Forgotten Legion's and found it quite illuninating on many obscure Waffen SS units. (I share your disapointment that so many had very little source material to work with) I did a review in the Book Review section on Forgotten Legions in that sub-forum (I'm the trustee for Books and Publications) and would welcome your comments on that thread when you may get the chance.
