Damien Boiteux, pilot died in action for our freedom

    A special tribute to Lt. Damien Boiteux , Helicopter Pilot at the 4e RHFS (French Special forces) who died in action while fighting terrorists in Mali on January 11th 2013.

    despite being deadly wounded in the leg by a piece of shell , he managed to land his helicopter before dying and saved his crew .

    He made the ultimate sacrifice while fighting for our freedom .

    May he rest in piece :poppy:
