    In a similar genre....

And on the seventh day, God said "I need an administrator. Someone who can make life so incomprehensable that only he can understand it, so that he may be able to earn his living at a desk, of no use to anyone. Yet, be gentle enough to go home to his wife and tell her what a difference he had made, so that she may be content. I also need someone rough enough to let all criticism of their profession roll entirely off their backs, and make no changes whatsoever to benefit any but himself, yet smooth enough to sit in the highest office of the land, telling us all how vital he is...."

And so, God made a LAWYER

The future is here.....I have already seen these vehicles with their goat emblems on front hood headed down the road with beef sack hanging from the bumper hitch indicating ram virility with the beef acoutrements on display(some kind of new hybrid cross I guess)............however it was driven by a young woman???????????? destroying my preconceived concepts of "how things should be"...........it also sported the "Dallas" emblems on the back window quite proudly.

For me, I will stick to my GMC, sans acoutrements, knowing it was probably put together au Canada, with its plain back window. It has served me well for a number of years....hoping someday to afford another one but fear the costs that are ever climbing......... but not yet as high as those that buy the Farmer Ads at super bowl cost.

My Son sent me that in an e-mail, and for those who dislike the idea of the pickup in the ad, or pickups in general, the new V-6 base Ram has more "crap" in it that you can imagine. Not bad stuff, just stuff a truck shouldn't need. Read the Car and Driver review, and while they don't dis it really, they do seem to wonder which demographic is this truck for?

Still a great ad, and as an ex-farmer rancher I could identify.

Dodge....whatever, I guess they need a flashy commercial to make up for their lack luster pick up trucks.

Me I refuse to judge myself or others on brand-ism. I have driven pick-up trucks my whole and they were all good. Right from my B2200 to my turbo diesel 2500 ram.And they all had faults.

I think the problem is where they are made and if the knuckle heads who build them were hung over the day they made your.

When Dad entered the service, his listed occupation was that of "farmer." A great many of my family members on my father's side are still farming today.

So I was kind of partial to this commercial.
