Hi everyone. My name is Rob and I've been a regular poster over on WW2Talk since August 2008. Just popped in to see the new Invision Board and how it works. My Dad was a Vet who served in the British Royal Artillery from 1940 to 1946, when he was demobbed. I've been researching his unit (102 LAA Regt, since 2004) and this is a link to the thread on WW2Talk. http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/royal-artillery/48697-102-laa-light-anti-aircraft-regiment-royal-artillery-their-history.html I also help to commemorate the fallen of the British & Canadian Artillery as well. Welcome Rob, glad to have you over for a visit. Very much appreciate your work on the Canadian side of things, my own brother server as an artillery man in the Canadian army. You aren't long for this platform over at WW2T. Von Poop and I are completing the testing now.
Thanks for the welcome Otto. Which unit did your Dad serve in? Hi Lesley. Decided to join, as a member here is looking for info on a British Arty Regiment. I have the war diary and should be able to help him. Cheers - Rob
Hi Rob. Glad you could join us. Wow! Pretty soon we'll have more UK members than American ones. Nice to see some from WW2Talk find their way here.
