hello everybody :venom-fire: I have some German stamps from the Third Reich, and I thought that it will be nice if I will share it with the forum`s members Above the Nazi eagle there are the words "DEUTSCHE REICH" or in English - "The German Reich" On the last stamp there are the words "REICH" and at the bottom of the stamp there is the word "RHEINLAND" - I almost sure thats mean that this stamp was made in the rhein river area.
Sorry, but your picture links do not work for me. You need to download pictures from a buffer site, like imageshack or photobucket but not directly from a computer. This may be why the links do not show.
They work now but only in thumbnails and when I click on them they take me to a bufer site but they don't load big enough. Maybe it'size.
Just tried one of the links, IE8 acts like it's loading but after three minutes, I gave up? I have a DSL connection which doesn't help.
Links aren't working for me either (I'm using Google Chrome). You might try using Photobucket. Upload your pics to there and than share the image code here. Photobucket is pretty easy to use and free if you don't mind watching a few ads while your uploading your pics.
I see them now. Do you have a whole stamp collection, or just these? In any case, these are quite nice. Thanks for fixing the problem and sharing them.
They work for me too . I believe the firs tset are not postal stamps but tax stamps (Steuermarken). D.M.S.Z. + DIENSTMARKE STEUER ZAHLUNG. The second one is a postal stamp one from the Weimar government . It is a 1925 issue to celebrate the end of the French occupation in Rheinland. There were 3 issues (5p green, 10p vermillion and 20p blue) . Note your stamp was cancelled on dec 3rd 1925. To avoid offending the allies, the official title was "the millenium of Rheinland"
