Just go to youtube.com and type "unsere mutter" in the search text box. You will find new links. Copyright owners remove old links but there are always enough new. But from what you're telling us I assume you try to acces a movie on the youtube through your mediaplayer. I have a WDTV Live but searching movies through its clumsy interface is a nightmare. Simply use your browser and thats it even though media players have huge advantage in better rendering and better picture quality if it is connected to a quality tv set.
Many thanks, I was going through my browser and will give your link a try. I have a 648mm HD LED monitor that produces good images and can plug into a large HD TV if necessary. Greatly appreciate your help !! Gaines
You're welcome Gaines! and for simplicity, here are the links to all 3 parts. Just copy an individual line and paste it into an address bar of your browser. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qpcn3pFc7So http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7JyYRU7ycE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QiZsIWDHa0 and for the German speakers a link to Maybrit Illner Spezial with participation of Daniel Cohn-Bendit, among others: Code: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WSub_KNS8Q
Nice posts Tamino! The women are nice..... But to come back to topic. You´ve said that the Germans have no right to point into Polands direction.... Why not? The world points into our direction 70 years after this had happen and as long as it wasn´t made to divert attention from the Nazi´s crimes ( i say Nazi´s crime not ours, cause i haven´t done such things) it is legal to point at nations or groups or people who made crimes . No one should forget all of the crimes and Tamino you know the word" The one who is free from fault, may cast the first stone!"
Tamino....Great thanks...episode 3....ok...which one of you German speakers is going to take episode 3 and subtitle it for me...I'd do same for you guys....Honest...
First of all, I'm glad to see you back. First of-topic: Michelle (on the right) is so nice, my favorite. Isn't she cute? Back to the topic: Every fifth Polish citizen has perished and Poles were involved in crimes against Jews, that's entirely true. But some respect for a nation that suffered the most under Nazis should be shown in a film which attempts to depict the life of Germans under the Nazi region. The movie depicts this subtly as a 'phoney' crime has happend in Poland and Poles did it. Isn't that a bit too much? That generation of the Germans has failed utterly on too many accounts. And, please note how carefull I try to be in making strict distinction among two very different terms Nazi and German.
Tamino, we have a problem now! I like Michelle too....... :noevil: You´re right about the facts in one way. but it isn´t wrong to say that others made warcrimes too. And there it is no matter if 100 people were killed or 1 million. Any single one is to much. And yes, i have noticed your always brilliant way of diplomacy my friend! Glad to have some nice discussions with you again. Cheers!
What a coincedence. Today, its Saturday, and I wanted to addapt for my wife subtittles of "Poirot: The Murder on the Orient Express" for a Bluray version which uses different directors cut. I gave-up after the first 20 minutes. I think you better go to the Schnell-Kurs of Deutsche Sprache. That's much easier, for me.
lol It takes less time to let Tamino and me have a fine flight ( business class is accepted) and visit you urqh. In that way we can translate it to you and the more whiskey we all have, the easier it is to understand german.... :drink_a_pint:
Indeed. I think Poles and Czechs should appologize to Germany too and do something substantial ('Konkret' auf Deutsch, that's what I really mean but cannot translate to English) for reconciliation and compensation for damages they did to Germans after the hostilities have ended. Regarding Michelle: no problem, we may share affection for her, but isn't she about 20 years older? :headbash:
My head hurts.... Perhaps you two could get together on the border....Much cheaper... Besides...German and Austrian Vino was a habit of mine in earlier years...BAOR...would always follow the band in Germany..or visits to Austria...tended to lead us to big tents with sausages and endless wine tasting.... Tamino....no need to translate for your wife...Just tell her the butler did it...The butler always does it...but in some cases...the little corporal does it too...
Indeed a problem with Michelle...ok Tamino, she is yours! Untersteyricher Wein.... what a offer maybe i can´t withstand to long urqh, maybe you should come to our region called Franken and we will visit some Weinfeste?
No, you can keep her - she is a bit too old now for my taste. Twenty years ago I would have accepted your generous gesture. Among other sorts, in our village the best is Blaufränkisch. In America this sort is known as Lemberger.
Now, a bit of-topic, but I hope helpful one. The true story of conflict in Central and East Europe isn't the story about the Good against the Evil but the Evil against the Evil. Abraham would have had difficult task to find 50 righteous (Genesis 18:24) here after the war. The BBC documentary in a frame below deals with injustices suffered by the Germans. This is a very sad story, therefore I will refrain from saying: 'Enjoy it!' BBC: Time Shift A Shadow Over Europe (This time no subtittles needed - this is in British English) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ieS2bOQFBCA
Me...me...let it be me....I think this calls for a revival of an old post on British forces slang of a few years ago....
Post number 64 here will explain in detail British to English...a la forces... But the whole thread was interesting as to one of Gordons latest threads on the kings bodyguard unit... http://www.ww2f.com/topic/21419-all-the-kings-men/
You will need a gap year: first start with Canadian whiskey and then move to Ireland ... In the end you may sip some Australian whiskey at Melbourne airport before the flight back to Texas. But carefully, learning languages may be harmful to your liver.
