I'll do research about the famous 4th Infantry Division during World War II.

With all of the information I have I would make a website about the 4ID.

I know the 4ID Association website. If ther is someone who has information for me it would be very gratefull.

If you have any questions please let me know.

I have registered a website what I want to make about the 4ID.

There is right now nothing to see because I'm working on the background on the website and searching for information.

    The website is www.ivydivisionww2.com

Speaking for many, we wish you well.

Still active divisions tend not to have websites dedicated to their WWII incarnation, though some have their own museums.

I usually don't respond to blanket requests for information because the response, more often than not, is "Oh I have that".

I can think of at least three book titles by Ivy veterans. I suspect there are some unit documents on CARL/CGSC. The official history Utah Beach (found on HyperWar) features the 4th ID.

    Good Luck!

It's a while ago when I have place this request but I'm now working on the Roll of Honor in a Excell sheet.

I'm working now on th 8th Infantry Regiment

I have the men on my list from the ABMC cemeteries in Europe. But still looking for the men who are buried in the U.S. Is there someone who knows how I can get their names.

Over here an update with what I'm doing right now.

Just started with the lay out of the website, it will take a while because I have high demands with what I want.

Also I have 5 Regimental books of the 4th Infantry that is send to me by email.

Know I'm working on this books to get all of the information out of it.

Now working on my desktop to make a slideshow with historical pictures about WWII. If there is someone who has historical pictures about the 4ID or general pictures.

I have also question! Is there someone who is interested to help me with this great project.
