Hi everyone, I'm Louise and I'm 28 years old, just found the forums and thought I would have to join as one of my main interests is in WWII, I've been interested in this particular era since I was about 6 years old but I've really only got into researching it in the last couple of years. My main focus of WWII is the home front and civilian life in the UK during that time, however I am interested in the full scope of WWII but I will admit that in depth military history can bore me a little but having said that, I always want to hear the soldiers stories and how they coped during their service. Aside from WWII I am also interested in 20th century British history, 19th century British history and social history. I am currently volunteering for a World War One project for my local council and am very much enjoying it. Apart from my love of history I also enjoy cross stitching, quilting, reading and keeping fit. I try to exercise for one hour every day! I think I've done a long enough introduction now so I'll be going for a look around the forums now and will look forward to getting to chat with everyone at some point. Best wishes, Louise.
Hi Louise. Welcome to our little corner of the internet. I'm sure you will find much to interest you. I will admit that I'm no expert in weapons, tanks, etc., but there is enough to keep me finding out new stuff. I think you will, too.
