    Ace of Spades: nothing more than a casual mention in the museum about HMAS Perth, I'm sad to say. They were focused on those folks from the Texas National Guard and those from the USS Houston captured by the Japanese and worked on the slave labor projects in Burma. All the navies were sacrificed, weren't they. Somebody was, though, able to salvage some items from the USS Houston, so I wonder if any salvage companies were able to find Perth.--Ray

    Yeah theres a bit of "unofficial" salvage going on on the Perth, much to the Navy's chagrin...The Houston was honoured to go down with Capt Waller of the Perth. Top ships and crew on both...and didnt they both give the Japanese some stick! : )
