What a stunner. This is the first I have heard of this. A tragic end for a very talented man who brought so much laughter into so many lives. I've always thought it was ironic that so many comedians have a dark side that they fight to hide inside away from their admiring public. Rest in Peace, Robin. You will be missed.
I oddly liked his dramatic worked better than his comedy. My penchant for English comedy I guess. "Good Will Hunting" remains a favorite movie and I think his best work. I had not realized he entertained so many troops. Very sad indeed.
Good Will Hunting is in my top five Non WW2 films of all time. He was well casted and was an unsung star in the film. Excellent actor as well as comedian.
Sucks being a human wallet. Depression has a trigger, and it builds. Divorce law is archaic. Not the 50's anymore. Get a job, beautiful.
"WWII Era Obituaries (non-military service) The place to collect memories of those who lived during the Second World War but did not serve. Subjects should have some relevance to the conflict."
I'm a Robin Williams fan, but this really doesn't belong in this forum. The man wasn't alive during the war and had no connection to it. It is, however, worth noting his strong support for the troops in more recent conflicts via the USO.
Robin Williams was one of my favorite comedians and with all due respect I've morphed Mork to the freefire zone. He made us laugh, sadly we couldn't return the favor. Shazbot!
