Escape from Sobibor

    Hello! Yesterday I watched the movie "Escape from Sobibor". This is the story of the prisonners of the Sobibor death camp and their evasion. In the movie they said that there were more than 300 prisonners that escaped on the 600 that were originally in the camp.

    Have you seen this movie and if yes how did you like it?

    A good many years ago, but thought well of it as I recall.

    I watched this movie a few weeks ago and enjoyed it. It's not very graphic, being an older movie, but it doesn't need to be to get one thinking about just how terrible the Holocaust was. One part I liked was the scene early on in which some of the members of the Sonderkommando tried to help some of the incoming people by encouraging them to pretend to know useful professions.
