Hello all, my name is Josiah, from Kansas City, Missouri. I've been interested in WWII my whole life, and this interest peaked recently when I discovered the story of my great grandfather, Lieutenant Colonel Edward Paulus (who I will talk about in a separate topic.)

Thanks for the welcome, everybody. I posted a new topic in the section, What Granddad did in the War, called Mud, Mountains, and Medicine. I encourage anyone to read it, since I found it pretty interesting, and you might, as well.

Welcome to the Forum, Josiah. Being in KC, you're situated well if you have an interest in doing research. You've got the NARA in St. Louis and the Eisenhower Presidential Library in Abilene, KS. The NARA in St. Louis has US Army personnel records, while the EPL has a collection of US Army unit records.
