    Glad to have found this forum. I look forward to reading and sharing.

    From the questionnaire...

    1. Your Name: Chad
    2. Age: 47 How long have you been interested in WWII? Passivly for a long time. Actively for a couple of years
    3. Origins: From Alabama but have been in CA for 14 years now.
    4. Specifics: What areas of WWII are you interested in? The people mainly, but all aspects interest me.

    5. Hobbies: I love learning about and meeting our nation's veterans. I often visit local and national cemeteries as well. There is a lot of history to be found there...
    6. Other: What other time periods are you interested in? Korean, Vietnam eras are other big interests for me.
    7. Miscellaneous: Anything else you'd like to share with us? I started a project called Honor The Veteran last year as a result of seeing Veterans Day largely skipped over in anticipation of Thanksgiving. This hit a nerve and I decided to make every day Veterans Day and haven't looked back...

    My father served in the 4th in '57-'58. 66th Armored Regiment in Leipheim, Germany.

    Good part of the state. I'm near Montgomery, but was born a few miles down Interstate 65 from there.
