Hi, my name is Noah. I am 18 years old and have a passion for all history, especially WW2 history.
I got into WW2 history when I was in the 7th grade. I wanted to learn more than just the basics of WW2 so I started to watch all the history channel shows about WW2(before it turned into a reality/alien tv channel). I instantly grew to crave nothing but history about WW2. In these past years ive been focusing on the Pacific theatre of war. I was shocked at how brutal the fighting was there, but it just made we want to dig deeper and deeper to find out all there was about it. I feel like I have a duty to shed some light on the horrors of the Pacfic theatre, and all the sacrafices the men made.

I am glad that I found this forum and cant wait to learn even more about WW2. Expect to see many post from me, especially in the Pacific theatre, Land Battles.

    Thanks for reading,
    Noah

Welcome to the forum. Most documentaries made for the History channel in the last 10 years or so have been so much garbage. They're written and edited for dramatic effect instead of an accurate historical retelling of the event(s). Their fact checking and research work into film and photo identification is also lacking and there are many obvious errors in matching events described to the film/photos displayed.

Hi Noah. Glad you joined us. I agree with Price. Most "documentaries" on the History channel aren't worth the time. There are numerous threads here that have more meat in them, so I recommend some reading. If you are more visual, there are many videos on youtube that were made at the time of the fighting. They will be more useful to you since you can draw your own conclusions.
