Hello does anyone know what type of ribbon this might be? It is triangular 1 3/4 inches on all sides. brown or a beige background with purple bar across the center. It has a pined back and the picture is the way it should be pined on a uniform. any help would be appreciated. thanks Bill
My guess would be a medal issued by one of the Balkan countries. Austro-Hungary and those nations in close proximity to the east and south of it tended to issue medals with triangular ribbons. I've spent some time searching but haven't had any luck (yet).
