I see I've already stirred up a hornet's nest on the whole to "u" or not to "u" topic, not to mention the knotty matter of gender.... I am indeed a woman - a proud Italian-American (with a dollop of Irish) born and raised in Connecticut, daughter of an ex-Marine (Korea), and niece of five men who fought in WWII. My co-author, Anthony, is largely Irish but raised in the UK. Father and uncle both served in the RAF, uncle shot down and killed on the eve of D-Day.
