Elsewhere someone asked us to post our scariest thing for Halloween. My entry:

"The US elections will be postponed one year to allow more time for campaigning."

    I got suspended.

Seriously? Just for that? I would think most people would agree, regardless of political affiliation.

Holy smokes! That's about the scariest thing I can think of. I would have suspended you, too.

Ah. A slap on the wrist then. :D

Ha ha. Well, I hadn't thought of it that way, but you're right! Words like that should not be spoken (er...typed) lest they collect the power to later become reality.

Yeah, don't try that stuff here.

    We have standards, ya know.

By the way Opama's joke was his 7000th (and almost last) post. Congratulations for that and for your humor, we appreciate it.

Close the thread, no one can come close to being scarier than that unless it was a two year extension ! :)

We have standards? Why wasn't I informed? I'm shocked! Shocked, I say.

Sure you can. If the wicked witch wins our problems will just be beginning. Plus she'll be angry

Nearly 3am here and I'm never gonna get back to sleep now. Another year you say? My better half is already threatening to stop watching the news if Trump wins hee hee.

I stopped watching quite a while ago and have been much happier because of it. Little bits of information sneak in via the internet, but I just can't subject myself to an actual news program.

We need to put both into Thunderdome, two enter, one walks out and all is forgiven.

I suggest both are Keelhauled . Both walk the plank and are forgiven .
