Hello Forum, I'm glad I found this place. I'm Clio, named after the muse of History. I'm 58, an historian and writer; in my previous life before I retired I was also a librarian. WWII has always fascinated me because of a deep family connection through my father and his brother who was killed in action in Hong Kong on Dec 20, 1941. My father never recovered from the grief of his brother's death at age 22, and it haunted him up to his death in 2009. I am researching through military records, etc on the circumstances of my uncle's death, and how it occurred. I will write more in other areas of this forum, specifically with my questions and observations, but for right now I'm interested in chatting with folks knowledgeable about the CASF in Hong Kong, the activities of "C" Force and related concerns. Thanks for providing this forum. Cheers!
Glad to have you. Tell us what you have already discovered and we'll do our best to carry it from there.
A rather belated Welcome! I've been a member a long time, but have been on leave for quite awhile. I hope I can assist you. You will receive considerable assistance in the Forum.
