Has anyone ever seen this spectacular natural display of lights up close? I know its in alaska , but at what time of year do they show them? My goal one day is to get out there and see them. Aurora (astronomy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)
I have never had the pleasure of seeing this beautiful natural phenomena in person. It's on my bucket list.
For the life of me I cannot remember when this happens. But I remember seeing footage on TV of it. It was amazing to see. I can only imagine what it is like to see in person.
I am not sure what time of year they are but I agree with shadow...it is definitely something on my "Bucket" list! I've only seen pictures of them and they look absolutely amazing, I can only imagine what they look in person!
