Hello all,

I'm from Gothenburg, Sweden and a member of the FP community. There are
some other of that community also members here. I thought it would be fun
to join in and see what it's all about.

During the 2nd world war Sweden was neutral and we were fortunate not
experiencing any acts of war. So when it comes to actions of war there is
not so much to say but still there are some other things that took place.
I'll try to find a corner for that in this forum.

What's the common opinion in here for birds by the way especially herons ?

Our favourite bird around here is the Spitfire mate, and I also have a soft spot for the Hawker Typhoon. :lol:

Swedish neutrality was a complicated matter was it not ? Bofors guns spring to mind....and also the amazing rescue of fleeing Danes....
