    I'm off to Normandy next week for a few days and wondered if anyone has any ideas on where to go and what to see. I last visited this area 10 years ago when we went on a mission to find my wife's great uncles grave. The mission was successful as we found him burried in the civilian cemetery in the grounds of the church at Ranville. We have since found my great uncles grave in the military cemetery at Esquelbecq, he was one of the troops massacred by the germans in a barn local to the cemetary during the retreat to Dunkirk.

    There are many places i could recommend that you visit as Normandy holds many places of interest, but what I will do is recommend you try and buy this book before your visit next week;
    It is from Major and Mrs Holt titled Battlefield Guide Books and Maps, I never visit Normandy without it, the map is a great addition and alone worth the cost of the package. Click Here

    Enjoy your trip.
