    Hello Steve

I'm unsure about exactly what level of resolution you're looking for, "Google Images" does have a few of reasonable resolution, including some with the pre-1918 Blue Naval ribbon.

British military medals are almost all struck at the Royal Mint (www.royalmint.com) in South Wales, consequently they would have not only the dies, but they should have images of the medal too. It could be worthwhile contacting them; it might also be helpful to you in securing their permission to reproduce the image of the Victoria Cross on a website.

    Good luck in your quest.

    Hi Steve,

i can echo your sentiments regarding the picture quality of the VC on the internet, the one i use i had to tinker with it in photoshop to get the quality that i use in posts today ..

Brian has made some good suggestions, it wouldn't do any harm trying them ... :thumb:
