Hi Jim and thanks ;-))

I go by the name of History-buff because--its easier to remember for one--and I am--a self-proclaimed history buff. I like Military and Military related history--as well as collecting what I can afford. I am a collector of mainly original WWII German photos, Autographs, Militaria, Movies Images, Movies, Actors autographs, Images from mainly War Movies, some Western Movie Images. I collect in this catagory: Actors Prints, Lobby Cards, Movie Stills, Studio Release Photos, Press Photos, & Posters.

I am a BIG classics movie buff and most of my movies related images are from classic war and western movies. I think John Wayne is King of the Cowboys, Richard Basehart a better Actor than Duke (sorry) big fan of most of the "old timers" including but not limited to; James Cagney, Charlton Heston, Gary Cooper, Errol Flynn, Richard Widmark, James Stewart, William Holden, Spencer Tracy, Bogie, Edw G. Robinson, and the list goes on and on and on.

If I left anything out? feel free to ask about anything except what size of tennis shoes I wear. :thumb:

Thank you Stalin, and if time and such permits? I CAN get some rather unique info here. I have a lot of stuff that is not found on the net--meaning things you will never see unless I post it--this is because of conversations and such I have with Vets. Also, I have 2 friends in particular im hoping will have time to join? because they will literally blow your minds on the stuff they know and find.:thumb:

 

Posting new material would be marvelous H-B, also hearing from the Vets is the best way history can be told ... Hope it comes off .... :thumb:

PS, I just visited the Militaria sections below and I hope you dont mind my input and or corrections? I found a few slight errors there.

Providing I can get Erich here? you will get loads of great info on the Luftwaffe, Schnellboots and also StuG units. Ill try calling him over the weekend and let him know of this place. Erich does research for Authors as well as does loads of other things. Robert is also a good friend and he finds all kinds of obscure info--trying to get him here too-but he's already spread a bit thin ;-))
