Is your favourite film "Honey, I shrunk.......

No I'm sorry this is getting too silly & I don't want you getting a persecution complex.

    Welcome Al.

Hope you enjoy your stay in this wacky corner of the web.

    All the best; Dave.

    No wife.

Can't stand that movie. I much prefer The Road Warrior.

I can take it and I'm happy to dish it out.

Thank you for the warm welcome.

    Oops,
Been posting for two days now, and only just found the "introduce yourself section". Probably don't need to now, with so many posts in the last 24 hours.
Oli, 49, wargamer, design engineer, aerospace fanatic, military technology freak, linguist, mathematician, physiscist, philosopher, film and theatre lover, ex-biker (my last one - brand-spanking new GSX-R750 only just run in - had to go due to financial reasons), unemployed (prospective employers say I'm over-qualified) since finishing university 4 years ago (had time off work to do something different with my life ="social sciences" :kill: Bwah hah hah science? NOT!!) but still looking for a real job)), overuser of parentheses, etc etc.
Oh and notorious weraer of mirror shades regardless of time of day, location and social occasion.
    Hi everybody!
PS wargamers, please visit my website and discussion forum - not for all 'gamers, but I'm recruiting. Thanks. (And as you've noticed, inveterate "oh-damn,-I-forgot-to-put-that-in-before-I-signed-off"-er)

Hi. I've been a member for awhile, but just found this section. I'm a retired teacher and guidance counselor. In my younger days, I spent 3 years in Bamberg, Germany (which I loved) in the 3d Bn, 35th Armor (4th AD). For those of you who like coincidences, we were stationed in the same barracks that had been used by Pz Rgt 35 (Pz Div 4) before they moved east in 1939. Outside the barracks was a stone monument inscribed "Unsern Gefellen 1939-1945." Talk about living history! After Germany, I spent a year at Ft. Benning and then off to "the 'Nam. " It wasn't as much fun as Germany. I've been a nut about WW II ever since I was in Germany. My wife keeps saying, "Why do you watch all those shows. We know who won." I'm really enjoying this site. Best wishes to all.
