Well I might be the only tank you've ever built, I sure like it! Just wonderful how you did the wheathering. What scale is it? 1/48?
I like your planes too, but I'm not much of a planefreak so I don't really recognize the most...
    great work!

Thank You PP :D It is a 1/35 scale T-62A made by Tamiya, I liked building the tank because it was simpler to construct than aeroplanes (especially the biplanes) so i could spend more time painting; i prefer the painting part to the building part MUCH more...

I havent built a model for a while, but now that its exam period (procrasition is in the air!) and my broken hand has healed, i might just go and buy a new one :D

A bit more 'fun while I work' - same Tiger I hull but with a Challenger I turret.

I had a big setback with my Sturmtiger - the sides of the upper hull I'd so painstakingly copied from scale drawings don't fit together!

I'm currently working on a 1/72 USMC AAV-7A1,an AMT Darth Vader figure and a Corporate Alliance droid tank.I put the amphib on the back burner because I need a change of pace.I'm missing the eye pieces for Vader and I'm stuck on how I want to paint the droid tank.Sort of a pain in the ass.

My modelling station is still set up after the group build, so I'm working through some half-built kits. I finished off a Challenger II (crappy kit, I had to lengthen the lower hull by .5 cm just to make it fit  ) and am now doing a Be-2 rocket interceptor (you can see it in the background of my 'fun while we work #2 picture). The main problem is finding red star decals in my spares pot that are small enough for this plane!

Great build! I really like the " decals" (which you probably painted yourself?)

Oh no! Far too good for that. I took them from my 'spares' bag. They were originally for a Polikarpov I-16. The other side has another slogan which I have never seen before.

The reason the writing is on 2 levels is because the '3A' characters would otherwise have been placed over the cockpit runners, and would not have stuck down properly!

No idea, a Russian company. It was in a plastic bag with a piece of card stapled to the top, without instructions or decals or anything like that. It did have a painting guide on the back of the card, which was incorrect going by the pictures I have seen of the plane.

Here is the front of the card:

I'm currently woring on 4 old projects:

    1) Converting a Mirage III to a Kfir C-2.

    2) A Hind done in a pretty paint scheme (there is a topic about it somewhere)

    3) A Pz I - but I can't find the tracks, and the kit-maker is out of business... :(

    4) A MiG-15. It is an incredibly basic Airfix kit which I am detailing.

But come February 1st, all that stops and I will be making an SU-85... :D
