does anybody have pics on their modells,,need tips on how to paint and get my modells to look "old" etc regards /hoffe
well, it takes trial and error to come with the finish you like, perhaps you do not like the way your model looks but to others could be good, you can experiment with different types of paints, so it is as you wild imagination can do, enjoy this experiments :smok:
BTW, did you see my models? [moderator add: his pics are shown in the topic "what are you working on right now" of the modellers section]
Hello all! I've finally arranged my pictures, so here's a small presentation. Hope you'll like it.. there's more where this came from
Thanks! About the weathering; would you mean anything like this? (the picture unfortunately is not very sharp, but I think you can see what I mean)
yeap, but also you can add some extra equipment and fuel cans to add more details, just check some pics and you will be able to do the same, congrats!!!!! :smok:
Hi guys, Here it finally is: (at least, for me finally, it took me four moths to complete :-? ) My Panther G!! Some pics follow below. Though I have done it completely myself, I would like to offer my sincerest thanks to a couple of people: -Me 262 for his most wonderful pictures of the G in action, and for the 'golden tip' how to fix my tracks after I demolished them badly. - Ricky for his crashcourse drybrushing - Sturmtiger for his last post in modelling tips which brought me to the idea of the comouflage :smok:
That is a beautiful model Panzer... The time / effort put in shows, and it's definately worth 4 months of work!
good?, they are great!!! I'm glad that I was able to help you , any time any way,!!!! now, try with an airbrush!!!
Every little part, three times over. That's what necessary, I discovered, to make it look this way. As I mentioned before, I started in February, shortly after I got the model from a friend of mine. But it didn't take me four months of work exactly. I have had several periods in which I didn't work on it because I thought I was ruining it, and asked for advice. It took me time to find out how to fix it, etcetera. So all together it might come down to only a couple of months and not the full six. The rest I spent on research. I got some more pics, btw.
Makes me nostalgic for my old Airfix Mustang I made years ago... http://www.fun-online.sk/forum/viewtopi ... sc&start=0
