    Sherman, for its adaptability.

The Australian Sentinel - never used, but it remains my favouite 'what if' tank.

Well designed, good armour, capable of much upgrading (originally armed with a 2pdr, later prototypes had a 25pdr howitzer, a 17pdr, one test rig even had twin 25pdrs!)

Tiger I. I think for the fact that it played a prominent part in all the battles of WW2 which I am most interested in (Kalmyk Steppe battles, Kharkov, Kursk, Dneiper bend battles, Cherkassy, battle for western Ukraine, Normandy, Bagration etc to name just a few.

Mind you, the Panther also played a major part in most (though not all) of these battles and more but there's just 'something' about the Tiger I that does it for me.

Because I spent most time in it.

The T-34. It revolutionized tank design.

    I can't choose!! :D

The most beautiful IMHO is the JagdPanther, then the King Tiger, then the T34/85. But the Panther G was the best. I think. We're still nowhere near the end of that discussion...

    Welcome to the forum tiger1.

I have to agree that the most beautiful AFV ever built was the Jagdpanther. I love it's lines and angles.

Still, the JS-3 wasn't a World War II tank...

I wouldn't know which one to go for. I think the Tiger, Panter and the mark IV are nice vehicles.
