What kind of artillery is this?

    I saw this odd heavy howitzer in Aberdeen, it's mounted on a tracter, yet it doesn't look like it's self-prepelled, so it's probably towed. Like most of these weapons sitting out on the open, it was not marked or tagged. Could this be the famous Russian 8-inch gun that was used to level Berlin?

    I believe it is. And yes, it was towed.

    If 8 inches is about 203mm then it's the one. :D

    Thanks for the clarification Roel, for some reason this 8-inch gun didn't appear to be that "imposing" up-close. I was more intimated by the 11-inch Anzio Annie and definitely the 16-inch guns of the USS New Jersey.
