1st El-Alamein (1st - 4th July)

    Hello guys,

    This is my first post so let me introduce myself. I am Nebo, from Croatia. I am running and WW2 project, 3D RTS game, and this should be the best place for gathering informations. I will post some questions I need to know.

    - Please, tell me, what tanks were used in 1st Alamein war (1st - 4th July) by both sides, Germans and Britans?

    I'm not much into WW2 so I need your help. I hope you will help me!

    lol! same problem im having, the first alemein was the last of the REAL afrika corps battles.. it was at the end of the gazala gallop and the capture of tobruk... greece had fallen and Crete was being captured..

    Rommel was down to about 20-30 tanks and he rushed the allies trying to break thru to alexandria. the units coming from from crete and the middle east had just enough time to rush to the canal ports and offload the newly arriving equipment there.

    all was chaos and there were different types of tanks from valentines to matilfas,Honeys and grants mucking about..

    very confusing stuff and getting an accutrate ob is extremely difficult.

    we know the germans ahd a stug platoon plus some Dianas and a few of the marder II 132's they had some of the dozen or so 150mm pz Bisons..

    all real confusing tho sinc eits at the end of a major drive an units are all understrength and intermingled.

    Mutant Poodle it is for period from October to November. I need German and British tanks in period from 1st to 4th July.

    Can you write a small list of major and most important tanks used there in that period?
