Our official how to post pictures topic has been made a sticky in the Announcements section. Just look there, it should be third from the top or thereabouts.

    Can't wait for the pictures!!

Okay, the pictures I have average about 400 to 500 KB, too big so I have to make them smaller.

The limit is 150 Kb. We had to make it that small so as to keep the bandwith clear a bit... Most pictures can be made small enough yet still usable.

All I have to work with is Microsoft Paint. Any suggestions? If I alter it with that there is little if anything to see.

I also notice in pictures of red square parades that many trucks or tanks had their tracks or wheels painted white, perhaps it was more for visiual effect than actual combat application

    Yes, it is parade colours.

I love the sheer brutal look of the ISUs...

The pics were taken in Belgorod about 30 miles N of Kharkov at their museum. Belgorod is a beautiful city of about 300,000 people. They expect the population to double in size by 2015. When I was there no matter where you looked you saw skycranes putting up buildings.

The museum was very nice but the pics from inside did not turn out. The white trim is for show purposes.

I noticed that the welds on the tanks and most of the fittings were done in the way the Russians like to do things. No frills. Where westerners would go through the trouble to mount something with bolts the Russians just weld and don't bother to touch it up.

I have more pics just need to download them to Roel. I hope everyone here can save them.

I have to say that standing in front of one of those IS-3s is very interesting. Very low to the ground, very wide tracks and it just looks bad bad bad bad!!!! :smok:
