    Also incorrect (don't forget there were only 3 hobbits on the adventure at that point.)

    The correct answer is more than 5 and 6.

    Maggot,his wife,two of his sons and three of his daughters plus the three Hobbits.One or two others belonging to the household were there as well.
    Call it twelve but the book says there were 14.
