Lead Zepplin had a hit in the 70's with 'Misty Mountain Hop' I thought you'd find it from that!
David is pretty close I think he got the East clue, maybe Che could help with his quiz? Incidently, where was the first?

I got it straight away with the Led Zep clue!

It's the lake to the East of the Misty mountains, which is the source of one of Middle Earth's rivers. (Can't remember which one without a map).

Unfortunately David Sturm won't accept that as the answer cos it is not correct.
Nother clue. Think Army PT instructors badge, then 'ordnance survey'.

Sorry. It's the valley that contains the lake, not the lake itself.

I'm sorry., possibly I was missleading you. I thought the answer you were looking for was the site of the last battle between Dwarves and Orks? Azanulbizar?
Hence the 'crossed swords' of the PT Instructors badge which is the site of a battle on Ordnance Survey Maps.
Also the reference to 'Che' who has a 'Name that Battle' quiz!
Ah well, live and learn!Crawls back into scabbard in shame!

Going back to last question, Azanulbizar, it was actually the site of the LAST battle between Dwarves and Orks.
    Is this one a sword?

    OK.

This looks like a dead heat between Sturm & Merlin because you are both right. It is from Rohan & it is a sword. So for a tie breaker........ Who's sword is it?

Merlin & Sturm only for this one!

Orcrist is a sword from the hobbit, akin to Sting.

Herugrim? I have no idea, so I'll guess that it is a Goblins/Orcs Axe/sword.

You're right David, Ocrist is the sword of 'Thorin Oakenshield' it was also named as 'Biter' or 'Goblin Cleaver'.
Sturm should get the other so we'll leave it till tomorrow.
