the U 142 was a type II D, hardly a contender for the biggest, 314/364 tones and 43.97 meters long against the type X B 1695/2177 tones and 89.8 meters long

Well, I was waiting for you to tell if I was right. But then again, in this quiz we are not so strict with turns.
Now, first impression from that movie is that its name is wrong, that definitely isn't destroyer. I don t know any destroyers with triple turrets. Second thought was that russian light cruiser which broke its towing line back in 90's and drifted ashore in Norway. Scene from movie and comments back this thought. So I'd say its Murmansk.

Yes, you´re, coz of the terms "ever build", I didn´t know that there were larger subs in the First World War ?!
To the second quest., you´re right again, it´s the Sverdlov Class cruiser Murmansk. Here again I didn´t know that the Soviets build this cruiser class, wow !!!!!!! Nice one, even as wreckage!
