Museums with Axis equipment

A very good museum is the "Musee Memorial 1944 Bataille de Normandie" in Bayeux, France. It has a very extensive collection of German and Allied equipment, as well as uniforms and gear hung on mannequins. German equipment includes 20mm, 37mm, and 88mm Flak, 20mm Flak Vierling, truck, panzerfausts, trailers, mines, pistols, rifles, MPs, MGs, flags, mortars, cannon barrels from Pz IV, Panther, & Tiger I, sections of tank treads and road wheels, radios, 37mm Pak, and lots more. There are also recovered tail sections from a Bf 109 and Ju 88. Uniforms and equipment from the Allied side are equally well represented. It is my understanding that most of the collection in the museum was gathered up in Normandy, and a lot of it shows signs of use.

 

Don't forget the collection at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds-Maryland-. tanks, artillery pieces, even some rockets-and small arms from all over the world.....going there again, when l finish this new !@#$! manual. ' lve been asked to prepare....GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..
