This originally was a coastal defense gun on the American east coast.I think the bore diameter is 16".Imagine three of these side by side and you have an Iowa class turret.Let me see if I can come up with some more info for you.

army gun this gun was an army design that was never put into production. perhaps the most powerful 16" gun ever built. when the washington treaty went into effect there was a large number of naval guns surplused by cancelled ships. they were not quite as powerful but would do the job so they were wsed instead.
