Interests/Pet peeves

I rather like Dennis Miller. That joke is meant to be a parody of his intellectual somewhat obscure references?

 

Yeah, I could say exactly the same. I also love writing - I write short stories but have a small dream: to write a book (and publish it) - and reading. I can't spend a week without reading at least one book during it.

I also like discussing - especially about history (and in it: especially the 20th century), religion, maybe also politics.

What I dislike - ppl who argue without even bothering to check whether their arguments have anything in common with the truth or do it with a fixed opinion that their interlocutor MUST be wrong. Pacifists (especially from Italy ), different kind of radicals etc (I just wonder why all my dislikes refer to ppl).

 

Maybe because you dislike people.

A big one for me is Speed Cameras, I truly hate the things, especially the new ones that are just being installed in Kent, not content with taking your speed as you go past they take an average of your speed between two points.

My biggest gripe with Speed cameras is that on motorways especially I would much rather people concentrated on their driving rather than their speed.
