How can investigating the functioning and development of life be wrong? What matters is what we do with it. And even most of that I don't object against. ;)

I think that the 'religious' (well, Christian - there are a number of religions out there!) block is from how they get the stem cells - my very hazy memory dredges up something about thembeing gathered from eggs or embryoes, or something.

Somebody help me out here! ;)

I think its ok as long as they use an aborted fetus, you might as well put it to use and try to help someone instead of just getting rid of it, but making stem cells I find wrong, so I voted undecided.

Although of course the Religious view on abortion would also prevent that! ;)
